Day pay is the total of the shifts logged below, each at the rate that applied on the night it was worked. Drink-back is what their drinks earned, frozen at the moment of sale. Changing a rate never changes a night already worked.

What each person earns for a full or half day. Setting a new rate applies from today onwards — shifts already logged keep what they were worth.
Earns DB switches that person's drink-back on or off. Switched off, their credited drinks earn them nothing — but the customer is still charged the staff-credit markup on top, exactly as before. Drinks already sold keep the drink-back they were sold with.

A DB client is a promoter: the person who brought the customer, not the person who paid the bill. Wine and champagne rung on a DB tab pay them a share back. Both names are shown on every line below so the two are never mixed up.

Every cover, table and event charge. Includes is how many drinks or plates the charge covers — set it to 0 for a charge that includes nothing at all, which is what a seated-table or music charge usually is.
What the cover charge is worth against ONE redeemed item. A dearer drink is not refused — the difference goes on the tab, and a Manager can waive it.
What the cover is actually worth: the price of your cheapest alcoholic drink. A redeemed drink at or under the allowance above is free. Once it costs more, the cover pays this much and the rest goes on the tab.
What Close Bill starts on for each tab type. Staff can still change it on the tab.
Added on top of whatever is paid by credit card, after the service charge. Cash, PayPay, bank transfer and other pay none. A change applies to new payments; bills already paid keep the fee they were paid at.
Shown on the tab, the customer's copy, receipts and emails, past bills included. Leave empty for the standard wording in each language.
Only Admin can change the card fee and its wording.
Printed with the unsubscribe link at the foot of every promotional email, as Japanese law requires. Left empty, promotions are refused. Receipts are not affected.

On a Staff tab a drink up to ยฅ1,200 is charged ยฅ500 and anything dearer is half price (whole yen). Categories named here, comma-separated, keep their normal price โ Shisha and Food to start. An item with its own Staff price keeps that price. A whole bottle has no rule: the till asks for its price.
A Staff tab pays no service charge in cash. By card, this percentage goes on the bill as service charge and no card handling fee is taken.
Added to a Staff DB drink (not a whole bottle) when it is explicitly credited to a staff member.
The floor a Staff DB drink is charged at before the markup above. A cheap soft drink bought for a staff member is worth the same to the house as a whisky, so it is lifted to this first. At 1,200 with a 600 markup, a 600 oolong is charged 1,800.
Percentage of the amount charged (drinks or bottles) owed back to staff when explicitly credited -- see Reports > Staff Performance. Switch it off per person under Staff Salary > Day Rates; the markup above still applies either way.
Share of wine and champagne, sold on a DB tab, owed back to the named client(s) on that tab. Tick which categories count under Menu > Categories. Split equally when a tab has several names — see Reports > Client DB.
Share of the whole bill on a PR tab, every line, owed to the promoter(s) named on it. Also what a promoter earns on a drink tagged to them on any other tab. Split equally when a tab has several names.
Used by Reports > Taxes to show how much tax sits inside your takings, assuming tax-inclusive menu prices. It changes no price and calculates no liability.
How long after ringing a drink in that any staff member can take it straight back off — no reason, no manager. 180 is three minutes. Set to 0 to switch it off, and every void needs a reason again.
At 18, a night runs 6pm through 5:59pm the next day, so a 2am sale reports on the night that earned it. Used by Reports > Traffic & Stay Time.
Every customer gets a short handle built from their name — two letters and a number, like GN01. Staff say it out loud and write it on things, so a code already issued is never rewritten.
Raise this when a prefix is running out of room. It applies only to codes handed out from now on — GN01 stays GN01, so you will have a mix of widths, which is the point: nothing anybody has already written down stops being true.
When a tab left open starts being chased, and when it is treated as overdue. Nothing is written by these — an unpaid bill is simply an open bill that has been open a while, so changing them re-reads the same tabs rather than migrating anything.
When a table on all-you-can-drink is nearly out of time, the people working tonight (everyone on staff when no shifts are recorded) get a bell notice and a phone push naming the table, the time left and Extend with its price. Two reminders, by minutes left; 0 switches one off.
When the supplier takes orders (Tokyo time; the end may be the next morning). The Order screen shows whether it is open right now. Holiday closures and schedule changes are posted on the Roppongi distribution center's Instagram: paste its link and Managers get a bell task at 15:00 to check it, on Mondays and the day before a national holiday.
Which shortcuts the till offers when a bill is split at closing. It stays one bill however it is split — each payment comes off the balance and can be a different payment type. Splitting by item is the exception: that one moves lines onto a second bill.
One-tap answers in the Discount dialog. Staff can still type a reason nobody thought of — these only save the typing on the ones you give every week. Lower order numbers come first.
The answers offered when a tab says who brought the customer in. Deleting one that tabs already use only hides it: past tabs and reports keep its name.
Tick what you want and download it as one spreadsheet, with a sheet for each. Leave the dates blank for everything.
One file with every table in it โ the file you would restore from. Take one before any big change. Passwords and PINs are not included.
Every day at 18:00, when the business day turns over, the whole POS is saved to the bar's Google Drive.
Removes everything rung up while practicing, so the bar opens from zero. The menu, the stock and its levels, the staff, and all card-settlement history are left untouched. Take a backup first โ this cannot be undone.
Removes the tabs opened before Friday 9 October 2026, 18:00, and the expenses dated before 9 October โ the practice rounds. Every tab and expense since stays. Stock levels, the menu, inventory, customers, kept bottles, staff, pay, DB payouts, permissions, settings, GMO settlements, Zentoshin and the daily-sheet history are not touched. Review first; nothing is removed by looking.
The glow around the screen and the notch that show the next drink is free.
